Back to School Drive Announced!
The DCCA and LMCU are excited to announce our 2nd annual back to school fundraiser scheduled on August 2nd from 9am to 1pm at LMCU. This fundraiser provides school supplies to families in need. Each school aged child will receive a backpack which they will be able to fill with donated school supplies. There will also be fun activities at the event including Lizzy the Literary Bus, free hair cuts, Charlotte County Fire and Sheriff Departments, face painting, and games. Each child will also receive a coupon for free tacos and Rita’s Italian Ice. There are several ways you can donate school supplies for this event; Amazon Wishlist, drop off donated supplies as at designated locations, or donate cash on the DCCA website. at www.deepcreekcivic.org Here is the link to the Amazon Wishlist:
