DCCA is a strong supporter of the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County. AWL is a non-profit dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals. In Charlotte County, they proudly uphold a remarkable 97% save rate of over 2500 homeless animals each year. Every animal that walks through their doors, with the help of veterinary care and training, has a safe haven, nourishment, enrichment, and the boundless love of their devoted staff and volunteers. They are committed to standing by these animals, for as long as it takes, until each and every one finds their forever home.
