Garden Club: Helpful Landscape Websites

Between going on field trips to nurseries, special guest speakers at our meeting, researching at the library and just talking to each other and sharing our own experiences in the garden, the club members have always found the internet to be a valuable source of information.  Want to know what a plant is, does or how it can survive in your own backyard?  The answer is just a click away.

Here are just a few of the websites we all use and found very helpful.  As time goes by we will most definitely add to this list but in the meantime check these out.

Extension website:
The above is the website for the Extension Service located at 25550 Harbor View Road, Suite 3 Phone # 941-764-4340
Mon.-Wed.-Fri.  1:00pm to 4:00pm only  Master Gardener Volunteers will be there to help with any question.

This website is for help with trees.  Planting, growing and care.  Their trimming information is very helpful.

Also remember, Google the name of your plant or tree and you will find a multitude of websites to help with your problem or just a question.

Have fun in your garden!
